I never realized how popular gospel music is in Italy. In December, 2007, my wife and I went to our first gospel music performance at a church just outside Monte San Savino (AR) later in the month we attended another one with my daughter and her boyfriend in Siena in Tuscany. This year, we have attended other gospel music performances. I can tell you it an amazing sight to see the Italians in the audience clapping their hands, singing along and nodding their heads in time with the music.

Some of these performance have already happen but plan on attending next year's Gospel Music Festival performances in December, 2009 and January, 2010.

That's it for Tuesday, 23 December 2008: martedì, 23 dicembre 2008.

Broken links: Since November, 2005, I have written over 300+ blog entries with 1,000's of corresponding links/URLs for Moving2Italy2, covering a varied and wide range of topics. There are very few bargains fares these days. If any attractive fare and/or relatively affordable fare comes up that is offered by an airline, it's there for only a very short period of time (read hour(s) not days). I cannot vouch on how good one of the above fare watcher web sites is over another.

Since the air fares to Italy and other countries in Europe are at their highest, one must be on the lookout for the best fare possible. By utilizing a fare watcher option from one of the above, you work smarter not harder to find the best fare possible. This is just one way that I am using the web. Some other ways are subscribing to newsletters and telling friends and family that I am looking for an affordable and reasonable airfare back to the States next summer.

Presently, I am using some of the above link to look for an airfare from Italy back to the States next summer to visit with friends and family on the East Coast and Kentucky. I also subscribe to some newsletters or weekly notices. Please note: you may want to unsubscribe after you found the airfare you want for your trip.

So to the readers of this blog, I wish you all the best and hopefully, you find and get the right airfare to Italy or Europe or in my case, back to the States for a long overdue visit.
